What's Live on the Wire?
LiveWire! 2012 - Seven Years & Still Soaring
Yes, it's been 7 years!
And as we seek to run the next 7 with the Lord's vision for LiveWire! -
"Charged to Change & Connected as One Community" (Acts 1:8 & Acts 4:32),
we believe that it's time to let Him take us to greater heights.
Our theme verse for 2012 is from Isaiah 40:31 -
"Yet the strength of those who wait
with hope in the Lord will be renewed.
They will soar on wings like eagles.
They will run and won't become weary.
They will walk and won't grow tired. (GW)
Looking toward what's in store for the new year, especially 3 new major areas -
setting up LiveWire! base in Penang,
consolidating a full-time team of 7
& preparing the way for a media arts centre called the LUMA with the vision to Light Up the Media Arts,
two things stand out from the verse:
1) Being still in the Lord - waiting on & placing our hope in Him
2) Allowing Him to renew our strength so that we will soar like eagles
And this I believe is the call for every one of us, regardless of where we are on the map, or in what capacity we are serving or working in media. To facilitate a communal time of seeking the Lord & soaking in His presence together, we have set apart the following dates for monthly Still Soaring Saturday Sessions in Gateway City Church, Penang:

Extended Version: Saturday - Saturday, 14 - 21 April 2012
Standard Version: Wednesday - Saturday, 18 - 21 April 2012
Ba Kelalan, Sarawak, with the option to climb & spend time on Mt Murud
(Malaysia's highest prayer mountain) during the Extended Version.
Note that there will be no Charge Up! in 2012 as it has been running for the past 6 years and we will be observing the Shabbat and taking a rest from running the conference on its 7th year. Charge Up! will resume again in 2013.

Details like accommodation, transportation, expenses & deadlines can then be sorted out & furnished accordingly.
