Design Stream 2013
(limited to 25 participants)
The Design Stream is targeted to those involved in the field of marketing and communications – which includes the creation of newsletters, posters, brochures, leaflets, buntings, banners, online blogsite materials (web banners, icons, social media visuals, etc.) among others. Tailored to equip His people with the knowledge and skills to communicate efficiently through graphic design, our trainers will be sharing various tips and insights on the subject matter during the workshops and practical sessions.
Those who have no experience or aspiring graphic designers who want to learn the basic fundamentals of this subject are encouraged to join this stream. We will cover the basics as well as some design tricks that would inspire you to design, design and design great looking visuals that would captivate your audience while sending out a message effectively!
Who Should Attend?
- Those who require design skills for their work/project.
- Those who manage/handle communications at work.
- Those who communicate with printers & publishers.
- Those who want to learn more about design and communications.
Minimal Requirements:
Basic Computer Knowledge (someone who knows their way around the computer). Delegates must own a laptop/computer as there will be practical sessions. Minimum laptop/computer specs as per below:
- - Pentium CoreDuo and above
- - Windows XP with 2 GB of memory
- - Graphic Card at least 512MB and above
- - Storage space – minimum 10GB free storage
- - Laptops/computers must be equipped with the following:
- - Adobe Illustrator
- - Adobe Photoshop
- - Internet Browser (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.)
- - Word Processor (Microsoft Word, Wordpad, Notepad, etc.)
Logistics / Administration:
- One (1) coach to a team of 5 participants.
- Total participants – 25 (with 5 coaches).
- For this stream, the coaches are the trainers themselves.
- Each trainer will be assigned as coach to a selective group on that day itself.
Laptops/Desktops must be equipped with:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Internet Browser (Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.)
- Word Processor (Microsoft Word, Wordpad, Notepad, etc.)
